Angela Ferrotti (Palermo, 1990) is a photographer and visual artist based in Palermo. After earning a degree in Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster in 2013, she spent several years in London, gaining experience across photography and film.
She further developed her practice after returning to Italy in 2016, working across cultural, editorial, and communication projects. Driven by a sustained interest in territory and its imaginary dimensions, she now focuses on long-term visual research combining photography, writing, and collage.
In 2025, Angela participated in the 7th edition of Photo Solstice and was selected as a finalist for the RÉVÉLATION SAIF × La Kabine Award in Arles. Her work has been highly commended at the Belfast Photo Festival, shortlisted for the Athens Photo Festival, and featured in publications including Float Magazine, Osservatoriomaree, and Punctum Press.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, she explores the relationship between humans and nature, the dialogue between environment and inner experience, and the symbolic language of dreams.
